This article really emphasizes how important it is to distinguish between the genuine human connection and the digital world we have created. I found this article important for Mido because we are a digital service and we want to figure out how to give our customers a more personalized service. This article will assist us on that vision and hopefully make it more of a reality.

We have already discussed as a team how we would add a personal connection to our digital website and we have a few ideas such as holding appreciation nights, offering a rating system where customers can view what other customers think about the coupons and by sending thank you letters to return customers.

After reading this article, we can incorporate new techniques into our route to personalization.
