Key Partner Talk

The question of whether other coupon sites see Mido as a Partner or Competitor has come up quite a bit and I thought i'd clear the air.

Initially Mido's main goal is to aggregate various coupons from as many deal sites as possible and put it into one website and using our filtering system, customers will get deals that they are more prone to buying. We'll be taking roughly 25% of the revenue for our company but the deal site that offers the deal will also get 25%. So using this information we believe that any deal site that we work with will be our Key Partners.

However we don't see this as a completely viable long-term revenue stream and are toying with the idea of in the future going straight to the retailers ourselves and cutting out the middle-man. We also are thinking of adding multiple features on the website and our future mobile app that will allow retailers to post their deals directly on our website and take them down when they're ready. And for the mobile app some sort of feature that will allow retailers to send deals through a notification to people in a certain radius.

By executing something like this in the long-term this could potentially turn other deal sites into our Competitors instead of our Partners.

Now again all of this is just talk at this point and should be taken as possible ideas not definitive ones. As of right now, we believe other deal sites are our Partners.
