Meeting Agenda:
- Go over previous meeting minutes
- Update advisors on recent decisions/developments of mido
- Discuss Pitch idea
Key Points
- Prototype progress (We want to be able to launch a beta website with at least 200 users signed up and able to functionally use the website.)
- We have 11 early-stage agreements however coding the website was proving to take longer than anticipated so before the pitch we want to have at least 1 deal site integrated to our beta site.
- Discuss personal pitch video’s and decide on pitch strategy/presentation tools
- ***Decide who will present and what needs to be said***
End of Meeting Notes
- Get the prototype out there ASAP to test it, and see if there truly is a viable market
- The best way to determine financials is to again test the product and have some sort of primary data
- Less is more, like Jasmine said in class 1 person pitching is better, try and achieve an emotional connection
- Visuals, visuals, visuals – Sell the judges on the story and the people.. the business plan/numbers can be explained after during the question period or the 2nd meeting
- Don’t stop at 200 users, keep trying to get more up until the presentation
Action Items
- Launch the beta website
- Use data to create accurate financial statements
- Set a user goal and use social media outlets to achieve it (200 users)
- Create the Pitch – Both the script and visuals and prepare for Dec. 8th
