mido at this moment is a web service that aggregates all the coupons online into one single location(the mido website) and allows customers to personalize what type of coupons they receive.


Pain:

  • Currently there are over 400 deal sites that consumers to choose from.
  • This causes an unnecessary amount of emails flooding the consumers inbox.
  • These coupon sites offer a variety deals that don’t pertain to the preferences of the consumers. Eg, males receiving spas discounts or manicures and pedicures, etc...

Solution:

  • Aggregate coupons into one location(the mido website). We have an agreement with 11 sites.
  • Provide a unique filtering that allows end users to personalize what type of coupons they receive according to interest, location, how often do they want to receive emails of deals, price etc.
  • We guarantee that all the coupons we offer are for products that are ethical.

Customer:

  • Ethically minded consumers/health conscientious/organic consumers
  • Currently have 200 users in a week after launch (beta site)
  • Projected first month user= 300-400
  • Projected growth rate of 25% on a monthly basis

  1. Well done. Now that there is a much clearer understanding of your product/service, I can and have seen a movement towards localization rather than globalization and supporting your local companies such as Journey of Health. Localization does create more ethical products.
